IAAPA is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors supervises, directs, and controls the policies and programs of the Association. Each director has a fiduciary duty to be loyal to the Association, to act in its best interests, to avoid conflicts of interests, to maintain the confidentiality of Association information, and to avoid utilizing the office for personal gain.
The Board consists of 28 directors - 15 elected Facility or Life member directors, three elected Manufacturer and Supplier member directors, the Chair, three Vice Chairs, the Immediate Past Chair, three other Past Chairs, the Treasurer, and the President/CEO. The Nominating Committee nominates, subject to the approval of the Board, a slate of 15 candidates (serving three-year staggered terms) for director positions from the Facility and Life membership classifications. waterparks
Waterparks.org is the official Web site for the waterpark and water-leisure industries. It is the most comprehensive listing of waterparks in the world. It was developed and is maintained by the World Waterpark Association, the international organisation created to further safety and business effectiveness in the waterpark industry.
There are approximately 1,000 members of the WWA in more than 40 countries throughout the world. The members fall in one of two categories: Park Members or Supplier Members. Park Members are members who own, operate or manage water-leisure facilities. Park Members can also be prospective park developers who plan to build and/or operate a waterpark in the future. Supplier Members are members who supply products or services to waterpark facilities or developers.

Ales
Ales is a group of UK amusement equipment manufacturers, internationally renowned for their innovation, high quality of product, competitive pricing and after-sales service.
ALES-UK is the only industry trade association that specifically represents a forum for UK registered manufacturers and suppliers of all types of amusement and related leisure equipment, and service providers. It is a pro-active organisation with clearly defined aims of helping its members to obtain new business, within the UK and internationally, benefit from a wide range of services at substantial discounts, keep up to date with industry related legislation, obtain current information about safety matters and enjoy social activities which support charitable causes.
ALES-UK is recognised by and represented on all UK Safety Committees, is recognised by the UK Trade & Investment division of the Department of Trade & Industry which enables it to sponsor overseas Trade Missions and Exhibitions for its members, and has the ability to lobby Parliament and the EC through established contacts.
equity
Equity is the only Trade Union to represent artists from across the entire spectrum of arts and entertainment. Formed in 1930 by a group of West End of London performers, Equity quickly spread to encompass the whole range of professional entertainment so our membership includes actors, singers, dancers, choreographers, stage managers, theatre directors and designers, variety and circus artists, television and radio presenters, walk-on and supporting artists, stunt performers and directors and theatre fight directors.
Although we are a Trade Union, Equity is not politically affiliated and so does not make payments to any political party. This puts Equity in the strong position of being able to lobby with impunity governments of all political colours. We are however affiliated to the Trades Unions Congress and Equity delegates attend the annual TUC conference as a means of bringing performers' issues to a wider audience.
The main function of Equity is to negotiate minimum terms and conditions of employment throughout the entire world of entertainment and to endeavour to ensure these take account of social and economic changes. We look to the future as well, negotiating agreements to embrace the new and emerging technologies which affect performers so satellite, digital television, new media and so on are all covered, as are the more traditional areas. We also work at national level by lobbying government and other bodies on issues of paramount importance to the membership. In addition we operate at an international level through the Federation of International Artists which Equity helped to establish, the International Committee for Artistic Freedom and through agreements with sister unions overseas.
